Our modern laser systems are suitable for precise laser cutting of a wide variety of materials such as structural steels, stainless steels or non-ferrous metals. Depending on the material, laser cutting of the highest precision and quality is easily possible up to a sheet thickness of 30 mm and in dimensions up to 4,000 by 2,000 mm. Thanks to the many years of experience and excellent qualifications of our employees as well as the innovative laser technology, it is ensured that our cutting quality for laser cutting in Germany not only meets the recognized state of the art according to DIN EN ISO 9013:2002, but clearly exceeds it.

Depending on the chemical composition of the cutting gas used, the following laser cutting process variants are available:

  • Sublimation cutting
  • Oxygen cutting
  • High pressure cutting (with nitrogen)

In laser cutting, the laser beam heats the material to such an extent that it melts or even vaporizes. This forms a kerf on which a gas jet acts and expels the reaction products from the kerf. Precise cut edges are produced for all industrial production requirements.

Laser cutting in highest precision

The flatbed cutting systems from ERLAS enable laser cutting of a wide range of materials and material thicknesses. We have two flatbed machines for laser cutting of small to maxi-format sheets. For finishing and further processing during 2D laser cutting we use a brushing machine and a bending machine. Our customers appreciate the flexibility and short delivery times we offer for laser cutting. With a measuring machine we document the fulfillment of special accuracy requirements on request.

Three innovative gantry systems with a maximum working area of up to 4 meters x 1.5 meters x 0.75 meters are available for 3-D laser cutting. High beam qualities enable precise cuts. High laser powers of up to six kilowatts and process-optimizing measures such as the spraying of water mist or the use of special gas nozzles reduce the roughness depths on the cut surfaces when laser cutting thick sheets and shift the process limits to even greater sheet thicknesses and smaller web widths. The CAM programming of all laser systems is the basis for rapid processing of inquiries and orders, even for batch sizes of 1. Our extensive material stock can meet almost any requirement. Of course, you can also provide your own material.
