Variant-flexible rotary transfer machine with exchangeable workpiece nests for 2D scanner welding
This highly efficient semi-automatic machine is designed for the overlap welding of sheet metal parts in large-scale production. The max. permissible component dimension is approx. 200 mm x 100 mm. Coded workpiece carriers that can be changed within the cycle time allow the semi-automatic machine to be integrated into automated large-scale production lines as well as production in a parts mix. Stations for insertion, marking, welding and removal are available on the rotary transfer machine. Laser safety during marking and welding is ensured at each station by the design of the enclosure. When welding aluminum, the seam quality can be positively influenced by using the wobble function of the scanner.
MobiCell rotary welding cell with a 3 kW disc laser and 6 cycle stations. For optional assembly with individual parts or pre-equipped assembly nests.
Scanner welding optics with integrated process monitoring and component marking via an additional 3-axis hybrid marking laser.
Cycle time of only ~5 sec. with a welding time of 3.5 sec. Quick-change workpiece nests ensure a high spectrum of component variants
