Laser beam marking

For laser marking ERLAS uses modern solid state laser technology, which offers various possibilities of adjustment:

  • Average power: up to 50 W
  • Pulse peak power: up to 500 kW
  • Pulse duration: from 3 to 200 ns
  • Minimum track width: 0.05 mm
  • Size of marking field: 120 x 120 mm2

By adaption of process parameters and the possibility of placing work pieces below the optics which have a height up to 600 mm in maximum permanent marking and scribing is feasible as well on precision parts as on large assemblies. Almost any material is treatable, especially plastics, organic materials and coated or bare metal. The versatile applications include both functional technical labeling and artificial design of surfaces. Material is engraved, removed, molten or simply heated by the laser beam.
Due to a small track width unlimited contours and patterns are producible. As client you send us work pieces and the marking project in a common data format. Useable are graphics (for example jpg, dxf etc.) and text files of any font type.
